
InShared commercial - Geld over, geld terug – 2021
When we were given the brief to create a new character for Inshared, the only input we had was his already existing arm. After creating some initial ideas everyone wanted the new character to be energetic, spontaneous and fast with a simple yet eccentric look.
It took many more weeks of character design to make sure we created a character that looked right for the brand. In the end we managed to create a 3D version that felt right.
After I made the initial design, I took the creative and technical lead for the creation of the inshared mascot. Not only did this involve many sketches and designs, but it also meant modeling the character in 3D and setting up a good pipeline for rigging, animation, caching, shading, hair, cloth and simulation. In the end the character was fully modeled and rigged in Maya and then brought into Houdini for all the FX and rendering.
Currently the info-film has been released on Youtube and TV with more to come. Full credits will come as soon as the main ad is out.
